The 4-shaft shredder from the
ZMK 30 -ZMK 50 series is ideally suited to the Plastics Recycling
Industry and to branches of the industry related to the shredding
and processing of large plastic waste material such as large plastic
profiles. Output depends on the nature of the material to be
grinded and the screen size but usually lies between 300 to 2.000 kg/h.
Due to the slow rotor speed of approx. 25 r.pm. the noise level of only
76 db(A) remains very low. The machines are fitted with an automatic overload protection system and a reverse drive switch. The material is fed to the rotors from the hopper of the 4-shaft grinder. The hopper operates according to customer specified requirements. The material is picked up and fed into the cutting disks where it is shredded before it is discharged through the screen fitted below the cutting chamber. |

| The shafts are run by two electric engines each with a driving power of 5,5 to 18,5 kw. In case of a rotor overload the cutting shafts and space shafts will reverse independently and separately from one another. | The shredded material is ejected quickly and efficiently through the screen which is fitted below the cutting chamber. Different screen sizes (10 to 40 mm) determine the size of the end product. | |
